About

Built with care.
Made for everyone.

pzip started with a simple frustration: why does a phone need five different apps — each with its own ads — just to handle its own files?

The maker

Built by someone who
wanted fewer apps.

The idea and website are owned by Priti Kumari, with full concept and website credit to her. The Android app is designed and built by Abhiraj Aryan, owner of Nirvana Team, together with co-founder Rahul Kumar Pal. The goal is simple: one honest app for the files on your phone — fast, beautiful and free of ads.

Every screen, icon and line of copy in pzip is crafted in-house. The app stands on excellent open-source engines — libVLC, UnRAR, Zip4j and Apache Commons Compress — and its own code is public under the MIT license.
